EMBLEM

Emblem Def 2.jpg

Our emblem has many symbolic elements reflecting our core doctrines and philosophies of how we approach our work. While often ignored by many organizations, we believe an emblem that symbolizes our vision and mission is crucial to develop a common bond that is not driven by any individual, but by a set of principles.

Subsequently, we also focus on the details not just in our work, but even in our words - we don't call you or your team a 'client' or 'customer', but a 'partner'. We don't 'sell' our services but 'offer' them, with you ultimately deciding whether our work meets the requirements set forth in our agreement.

The stars represent multiple concepts

The circular star is made to look like a 0, empty, and symbolizes where your organization may feel it is.

The 8-pointed star represents a compass rose, acting as a beacon for you to find your way.

We are just here to help you navigate from one, to the other.

However, there are no lines: you are still free to choose your own path.

Ultimately, this is a source of our organization's name.

Astronomy: An asterism is a pattern of a group of stars that is not officially determined, unlike a constellation. This symbolizes our constant requirement to think outside-of-the-box, and not follow an established pattern. It also symbolizes the freedom of our partners to have a choice in how they choose to move forward with the multiple options we provide.

Typography: An asterism can also be a typographical device (⁂) used to indicate a break in a text. This symbolizes our partners choice to work with us in order to take a break from their usual operations and seek new solutions.

Gemology: An asterism in gemology is a pattern of light focused into a star shape. This symbolizes our belief that no problem is too severe, and that a bright solution can be found even in rocks; all that is required is a new perspective. We can provide this new perspective. It can be viewed as an alternative to the saying of a 'diamond in the rough'.

We are here to help you navigate through different phases of your organization's development. We will help you bring your vision to life by merging your goals with actionable frameworks and checklists.

The art of navigation also requires specialized knowledge, which is a requirement for our members to join Asterism Navigation and join the team. This ensures we have the proper abilities to meet your needs.

Finally, the field of navigation includes multiple categories and tools to reach a target. This reflects our goal to break free from the repetitive 'methods' embraced by other firms, and use all the tools we are aware of to make sure we can consider all options for you and your organization.

The  black  background represents the vastness of space, and the unlimited potential we believe exists within each organization. The darkness also represents the unknown - some organizations sometimes don't see that they may need help, or don't clearly observe the opportunities they may have. We are here to help!

The outer ring of the emblem is 1789 pixels wide, the year the Declaration of the Rights of Man and of the Citizen (Déclaration des droits de l'homme et du citoyen) was created in France, serving as a basis for many future concepts of human rights, and symbolizing our commitment to ensure our work does risk harming those rights.

Embedded in the roses is one of our core doctrines: the Japanese concept of OMOTENASHI

おもてなし

The word loosely translates to mean "every service is from the bottom of the heart – honest, no hiding, no pretending".
This is our philosophy for every single partner we work with.
